今日はAnacletさんの置かれた状況と彼の想いをお伝えします。ご一読ください。 I am Anaclet Ahishakiye, 24 years old and the third born. I was born in a pygmy family and community.
私の名前はAnaclet Ahishakiyeです。現在24歳です。ブルンジで、狩猟採集民の家族のもと3番目の子どもとして生まれました。 However, after being evicted by the government from our land for environmental protection, my family and I settled in an internally displaced camp in Busoni for five years before escaping from war and violence in 2015 from Burundi to Mahama Refugee Camp in Rwanda.
しかしながら、環境保護という名目で政府によって住んでいた土地を追われ、私たちの家族はBusoniという地域の国内避難民キャンプに移動を余儀なくされました。その後、2015年に起こった紛争の影響で、ルワンダのマハマ難民キャンプに逃れて来ました。 We rely on 7 dollars per person each month in the Mahama Refugee camp. My family and I do not have any jobs or opportunities to survive. As a result, my family and I cannot afford to cover the living expenses to attend PIASS.
私たちは現在、難民キャンプの中で一人当たり毎月支給される7ドルに頼った生活をしています。家族の中では、誰も職に就くことができていません。そのため、PIASSで学業に励むための生活費を捻出することができない状況です。 I feel my background ties me down every day. During my childhood, my hope was disrupted often. I used to have ten siblings, but five of my siblings passed away due to poverty and economic hardship to afford medical expenses.
私はいつも、自分が置かれた環境に縛られていることを感じてしまいます。幼いころからよく、希望は奪われてきました。10人いた兄弟も、経済的貧困のせいで医療費が支払えず、5人が亡くなりました。 Being born in a pygmy family, a historically marginalized group in Burundi makes me feel insecure while thinking about the future. I am considered to be a family hero as there is no one in my family who graduated from high school. It is a hard feeling that always burdens me constantly.
ブルンジでは歴史的に社会から置き去りにされてきた狩猟採集民の家族のもとに生まれたことで、将来への不安を感じることもあります。家族の中で他に中等教育を受けた人はいないため、私は家族内で希望的な存在と思われています。しかし、そのことは同時に私にとっての悩みにもなっています。 I cannot help my family since living in a refugee camp is sometimes more complex than my mental capabilities. I want to become more than my family expects me to be. I want to be a hero who can contribute to the community.
難民キャンプで暮らしている今の状況では、期待されているように家族の生活を支えることができず、もどかしさで辛い気持ちになります。私は、期待されているように家族を支えるだけでなく、自分のコミュニティにも貢献できるような存在になりたいのです。 This crowdfunding that Henri, Mutsumi and Yuki are doing will enable me to join PIASS.
